On July 16, we reported that Hyperliquid was undergoing testing in CopyTrader. Market and limit orders were already copied in the test environment, but the integration still had to pass verification in the live system.
Today the status has changed: Hyperliquid is launched in CopyTrader. This is the first decentralized exchange in our trade copying circuit.
What is available at launch
The confirmed launch volume includes copying of:
- market orders;
- limit orders.
After the integration update, the average copying time in our tests has decreased to about one second.
This is a measurement in the test environment, not a guarantee of a constant delay. In real trading, execution time and price depend on network status, Hyperliquid load, instrument liquidity, and specific account parameters.
Why Hyperliquid could not be connected as the tenth CEX
On a centralized exchange, a user usually creates an API key with trading rights and disabled withdrawal. Hyperliquid uses a different model: a main wallet address and a separate API wallet that signs trading actions on behalf of the account.
For the user, this means one thing: a Hyperliquid account can now be connected to CopyTrader and used in auto-following alongside accounts on supported centralized exchanges.
The first DEX in CopyTrader
Prior to this, CopyTrader worked with Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, BingX, KuCoin, MEXC, BloFin, and Gate.io. All these platforms are centralized.
The launch of Hyperliquid expands the system beyond CEX. Traders and auto-following project owners gain another platform in CopyTrader.
We continue to collect real execution statistics and expand the range of scenarios. At launch, we publicly confirm what already works: market and limit orders.
What is important to consider
Copying a trade does not make two accounts identical. Even with proper system operation, results may differ due to:
- price and liquidity at execution time;
- funding and fees;
- available margin and leverage;
- minimum order size and step;
- investor account risk settings.
Therefore, evaluation should consider not only the fact of order submission but also the actual price, executed volume, delay, and reasons for skips.
